Where it all began...
The Emaan Forum, was established by a group of year 10 students about 15 years ago in 1999. These students felt it was necessary to have a forum where student can meet, share, explore, discuss information about Islam and current events happening around the world.
Information and topics discussed come from students requests, concerns or shared materials. However, if students did not present materials then the Mr. Mohammed El-leissy, (The Head of the Islamic Studies Department as well as the Eman Forum) supplies suitable material.
This website was created by Rida Motahhir as a way for students to access the forum freely if they were not able to attend in person. This initiative lead to the wide spread of the forum, across the school and continues every year by a countless number of students who wish to follow in their footsteps.
May Allah (swt) reward all those who help keep this programme alive, even after the recent passing of Mr. Mohamed El-leissy (May God bless his beautiful soul and have mercy on the day of judgement). Ameen.
We cannot thank you enough for all that you did and the precious mark you left on so many lives, we will forever keep you in our prayers.
